What You'll Do
- Strategic Team Leadership: Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, cultivating an environment of excellence, autonomy, and continuous growth.
- Product Roadmap Ownership: Collaborate closely with Technical Producers to define, prioritize, and execute the technical product roadmap for our platform services and tools.
- Drive Engineering Excellence: Lead initiatives to continuously enhance our engineering practices, scrutinizing tech stack, tools, solution designs, and production/operations efficiency to ensure top-tier quality and performance.
What We're Looking For
- Senior Leadership Experience: 10+ years of hands-on engineering experience (across mobile, web, or desktop environments), with at least 5+ years in senior management roles.
- Large-Scale Team Management: Proven experience managing a large team of engineers (40+ people), with a track record of fostering a culture of independence and self-organization.
- Transformational Leader: Demonstrated experience in change management and successfully building/improving efficient production, delivery, and operations processes at a company-wide level.
- Strong Technical Foundation: Deep technical expertise and previous hands-on experience as a software engineer, ideally with large mobile or desktop products (iOS/Android native, C++/C#/Java/Scala).
- Proactive & Impact-Oriented: Possess an action-oriented, self-starter mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Bar Raiser Mentality: You are inherently dissatisfied with the status quo, constantly challenging yourself, your teams, and your peers to strive for greater innovation and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with high-load products featuring distributed architectures.
- Familiarity with our core stack: C++, Python, Go, JavaScript.
- Previous experience in game development.
- Specific experience in producing tools for mobile/desktop product development.
- Nice to have: Experience with complex in-house or Unity/Unreal game engines.
