We're on the hunt for a visionary Technical Director to lead one of our flagship mobile game products! What You'll Do
- Lead & Grow: Build, mentor, and empower a strong team of 40+ engineers and managers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous growth.
- Strategize & Execute: Define and implement the technical roadmap for our cutting-edge mobile game product.
- Drive Engineering Excellence: Continuously analyze and enhance our tech, tools, and practices, spearheading initiatives for efficiency and innovation.
- Collaborate for Quality: Partner closely with Game Producers and company-wide divisions to ensure the highest product quality and seamless execution of the game roadmap.
Our Tech Stack
- Game Client: C++ (17 and Boost)
- Engine: Proprietary ECS-based architecture
- Scripting: Lua, Python
- Game Server: Node.js, Go, Python
- Infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker, Kubernetes (k8s)
What We're Looking For
- Proven Leadership: 10+ years in engineering, with 5+ years in senior management roles (e.g., Technical Director, CTO, Director of Engineering). You have demonstrated experience as a "Manager of Managers."
- Strategic Vision: A track record of creating and executing tech strategies for large-scale software products.
- Hands-On Expertise: Strong technical acumen with previous hands-on experience as a software engineer, ideally within large mobile products (iOS/Android native, C++/C#/Java/Scala).
- Game Engine Experience (Nice to Have): Familiarity with complex in-house, Unity, or Unreal game engines.
- Proactive & Action-Oriented: A self-starter with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Bar Raiser: You're never satisfied with the status quo, consistently challenging yourself, your teams, and your peers to achieve more.
