Description
Truv is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Sales to lead and drive significant growth within our dedicated Mortgage Vertical. This pivotal leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, building and managing a high-performing sales team, and significantly expanding Truv's footprint and market share within the mortgage lending industry.Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive and impactful sales strategy specifically tailored for the mortgage vertical, ensuring strong alignment with Truv's overarching business objectives and revenue targets.
- High-Performing Team Management: Recruit, mentor, coach, and lead a team of skilled sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture characterized by continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.
- Aggressive Revenue Growth: Drive robust new business acquisition and strategically expand existing client accounts within the mortgage industry to consistently meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets and key performance indicators.
- Strategic Market Expansion: Proactively identify and aggressively pursue new market opportunities within the mortgage lending industry, including the cultivation of strategic partnerships and alliances to accelerate market penetration.
- Effective Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely and collaboratively with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless alignment of strategies, consistent messaging, and the delivery of exceptional value and a superior experience to our mortgage clients.
- Industry Thought Leadership: Represent Truv as a thought leader at key industry events, conferences, and forums, actively enhancing brand visibility, building strong industry relationships, and establishing Truv as a trusted partner within the mortgage lending space.
Qualifications
- Extensive Sales Leadership Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise and strategic sales roles, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial capacity (Director, Regional Vice President, or equivalent).
- Deep Mortgage Industry Knowledge: A comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the mortgage lending landscape, including strong familiarity with leading Loan Origination Systems (LOS) platforms such as Encompass and Empower.
- Proven Track Record of Success: A demonstrable and consistent track record of successfully building and scaling high-performing sales teams, consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets, and effectively driving significant market expansion.
- Exceptional Leadership & Communication Skills: Strong and effective leadership, communication (both written and verbal), and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to influence and build consensus at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
