Inviox Studios is seeking a highly creative and skilled Senior Illustrator – Splash Artist to join our passionate team. At Inviox Studios, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on high-visibility intellectual properties (IPs) and original titles, crafting compelling promotional and in-game splash art that captures the imagination of players and truly defines the unique soul of a game.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of proven professional experience in illustration for games, animation, or the broader entertainment industry.
• A strong and diverse portfolio that prominently showcases high-quality splash art, impactful promotional illustrations, and compelling narrative compositions.
• Advanced and comprehensive understanding of the principles of light and shadow, color theory, human and creature anatomy, and dynamic composition.
• Mastery of Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent industry-standard software) for creating high-end digital paintings with exceptional detail and polish.
• Exceptional ability to create compelling visual storytelling within a single, impactful image, conveying mood, narrative, and character.
• Comfortable and adaptable to working within different established art styles and following specific art directions while contributing your own creative insights.
• Responsible, highly self-motivated, and capable of working effectively with minimal direct supervision, managing your own workflow and deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly discuss and confidently defend your artistic choices and vision.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience working on commercially shipped game titles or large, well-established game franchises.
• A solid understanding of marketing visuals and how impactful splash art strategically fits into broader brand storytelling and player engagement.
• Familiarity with animation pipelines or basic motion design principles, understanding how still images can translate to movement.
• Knowledge and appreciation of various aesthetics across genres, including fantasy, science fiction, and stylized art.
• Time zone alignment with Central European Time (CET) ±3 hours, facilitating smoother collaboration with our international team.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality and visually stunning splash art and key visual assets for characters, game environments, and significant in-game events.
• Effectively translate 3D models, initial concept art, and project briefs into polished and evocative final illustrations.
• Collaborate effectively with art directors, concept artists, and marketing teams throughout the creative process.
• Follow established artistic direction while actively contributing your own unique creative flair, artistic vision, and innovative ideas.
• Ensure strong visual consistency and stylistic direction across multiple related art assets.
• Review and provide constructive feedback to junior artists on the team when needed, contributing to their artistic growth.
• Ensure the timely delivery of all assigned art assets while consistently maintaining the highest standards of artistic quality and attention to detail.
