Description
We're seeking our first-ever full-time Product Manager—a highly strategic, execution-oriented builder who is passionate about shaping the very foundation of our product function. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the Co-Founder and COO and involving close partnership with the engineering team and various cross-functional roles to design and scale the core systems that power our innovative care model. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of robust experience in product management and thrives in dynamic, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environments. We're looking for a mission-driven and resourceful self-starter who excels at dissecting complex problems and transforming them into clear, scalable, and user-centric solutions. You should be an exceptional communicator, deeply curious about understanding user needs at their core, and comfortable building systems and comprehensive documentation from the ground up. Prior experience within digital health and early-stage startup environments is strongly preferred.
If you're an experienced product professional with a strong and unwavering commitment to our mission of expanding access to high-quality maternal mental healthcare, we want to hear from you. Join us in paving the way for a brighter future for mothers and their families!
What you'll do
- Own our end-to-end product development lifecycle, from conducting in-depth user research and meticulous scoping to seamless execution, rigorous QA processes, and thoughtful post-launch iteration and optimization.
- Conduct deep and insightful user research with our valued patients, dedicated clinicians, and trusted referring providers to gain a profound understanding of their key pain points, unmet needs, and desired outcomes.
- Write clear, concise, and actionable Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) to effectively define detailed product specifications and efficient workflows that not only meet the diverse needs of cross-functional stakeholders but also set clear and measurable objectives for the engineering team to execute on.
- Lead the creation of comprehensive product documentation following the successful completion of each project, translating intricate engineering logic into clear rule sets and easily understandable processes for the day-to-day owners of the newly developed product features.
- Design and maintain efficient low/no-code systems and intelligent automations that seamlessly support critical patient journeys and streamline essential operational workflows, particularly in areas such as scheduling, patient intake, initial screening processes, care coordination, and more.
- Define and diligently monitor key success metrics for core tools and internally built services, ensuring we are continuously measuring impact and identifying areas for improvement.
- Expand our foundational product infrastructure, including the development and refinement of our roadmap planning processes, prioritization frameworks, and stakeholder alignment strategies.
- Partner closely and collaboratively with our visionary founders, talented engineering team, dedicated operations staff, referring providers, and clinical leadership to ensure the seamless execution and widespread adoption of new products and tools.
Who you are
- You are a senior-level individual contributor (IC) bringing 5–8+ years of significant experience in product management, ideally with a substantial portion of that experience within the digital health sector.
- You have a proven track record of successfully owning complex, cross-functional products from the initial problem definition stage all the way through successful launch and beyond.
- You are inherently comfortable navigating ambiguous, early-stage startup environments and are genuinely excited about the unique opportunity to be the first Product Manager, laying down the fundamental product strategy, essential processes, and critical tools.
- You are both deeply empathetic and highly systems-oriented—equally energized by engaging directly with users to understand their needs and by designing scalable and efficient backend workflows to support those needs.
- You are fluent in leveraging low-code automation tools and are adept at establishing complex logic within marketing automation software, sophisticated survey and form tools, and a variety of other relevant platforms.
- You are a strong and articulate communicator, a skilled writer, and a natural collaborator who brings clarity and much-needed structure to often fuzzy and ill-defined challenges. You thrive in cross-functional teams, working alongside passionate team members from diverse backgrounds.
- You are genuinely passionate about healthcare, mental health, and/or women’s health, and deeply motivated by the potential for significant positive impact.
Must haves
- 5+ years of dedicated product management experience, including a minimum of 2+ years of end-to-end ownership of core product areas.
- Demonstrated experience in building and scaling tech-enabled services within a fast-paced startup environment (strong preference will be given to candidates with direct digital health experience).
- Deep and genuine empathy for patients, clinicians, and care teams—coupled with an unwavering commitment to building thoughtful and user-centered solutions.
Note: If you feel strongly that you have what it takes for this role but don’t check 100% of the boxes—that’s okay—we encourage you to apply anyway and highlight what you can bring to the table.
