Description
Flex is seeking a talented full-time SEO Copywriter to join our growing content team and help fuel Flex’s organic growth engine. This role is perfect for a strong writer with a passion for storytelling, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of SEO best practices. As an SEO Copywriter at Flex, you'll be responsible for creating high-performing blog content that supports our SEO strategy, drives traffic, and showcases Flex’s value in a compelling and digestible way. You’ll collaborate closely with our Senior Content Manager, compliance team, and design team to bring content to life across our site and content channels.What You’ll Do
- Content Creation: Research, write, and optimize engaging SEO-friendly blogs tailored to our B2B audience, highlighting Flex.one’s value propositions and industry expertise.
- Compliance Coordination: Submit blogs to the compliance team and address feedback or necessary edits.
- Collaboration with Designers: Partner with our design team to gather relevant design elements, images, or infographics to enhance blog content.
- CMS Management: Upload finalized blogs to our CMS (Webflow) with appropriate formatting, metadata, and SEO tags.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough QA checks for each blog to ensure accuracy, functionality, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Performance Reporting: Provide light reporting on launched blogs, including traffic performance, engagement, and optimization opportunities.
- Contribute to broader content efforts, such as landing pages, email copy, or campaign content, as needed.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in SEO writing, content marketing, or copywriting, preferably in a B2B or financial services context.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research and on-page optimization.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a full-time capacity.
- Collaborative mindset to coordinate with compliance and design teams effectively.
- Be a strong storyteller who knows how to blend brand voice, keywords, and value props seamlessly.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or Ahrefs is highly desirable.
- Experience with light performance reporting using tools like Google Analytics or similar is a bonus.
- Familiarity with content management systems, particularly Webflow, is a strong plus.
