Description
You will contribute to research and development with our Future Products team, building the next generation of causal marketing measurement tools. You'll work directly with customers to drive impactful business changes. You'll also actively participate in the full product life cycle, collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality customer experiences.The ideal candidate is a hands-on economist/applied scientist with expertise in the modern marketing measurement stack (incrementality testing, MMM, MTA) and a passion for developing and deploying new methodologies via scalable software solutions. You excel at execution and use strong judgment and clear communication to drive strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
- Model Deployment & Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to build and deploy causal models into production.
- Methodology Development: Leverage existing literature and develop new scientific methodologies in causal marketing measurement.
- Product Roadmap Influence: Drive product roadmap by advocating for rigorous scientific solutions to customer challenges.
- Customer Support & Communication: Support customers post-launch by establishing requirements and communicating technical concepts/results.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: MSc/PhD in Economics or equivalent industry/academic experience.
- Professional Experience: 2+ years working as an Economist/Data Scientist/Applied Scientist, building scientific models for production.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert in Python and SQL.
- Marketing Measurement Expertise: Experience in the modern marketing measurement stack (incrementality testing, MMM, MTA).
- Causal Inference & ML Experience: Experience in causal inference and machine learning.
- Deployment Experience: Experience coding and troubleshooting models built for deployment.
