Description
We are looking for a Social Media Manager focused on Complex Style, with a strong emphasis on real-time content and on-camera presence.Key Responsibilities
- Real-Time Coverage: Work weekends, nights, and holidays to cover live events and maintain active Complex Style social channels.
- Social Voice & Execution: Execute the Complex Style social voice (Instagram, Instagram Stories, X/Twitter), demonstrating excellent judgment and audience sensitivity.
- High-Frequency Content Publishing: Create, curate, and publish posts, carousels, or reels at least once every other hour (breaking news, evergreen content, feature uploads).
- Community Management: Lead community management, moderation, and DM management, maintaining the Complex tone and voice.
- Content Discovery & Pitching: Surface and pitch viral, breaking, and social-friendly content to the news team and Style Social Strategist.
- Creative Asset Development: Develop creative assets using Photoshop, Premiere, and CapCut.
- Real-Time Content Creation: Ideate, source, and create original real-time content, identifying emerging memes and trends.
- Social Goal Achievement: Support all social goals (growth, traffic, views, and engagement) and provide vertical-specific tactics and strategic pivots.
- Platform Best Practices: Track and share social and platform best practices with internal teams.
- Editorial Social Workflow: Manage the workflow of editorial social posts, coordinating with branded and Complex Shop social teams.
- Vertical Video Creation: Create engaging vertical videos to drive engagement and conversions.
Who You Are
- Experience: 1-3 years of social media and editorial experience with a publisher or brand.
- Complex Tone & Voice: Deep understanding of the Complex Style content, voice, and tone.
- Team Player: Positive, intuitive, proactive, and collaborative team player.
- Communication Skills: Strong writing and communication skills, proofreading experience, and quick decision-making skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Robust knowledge of streetwear/fashion and its connection to pop culture, sports, and music.
- Platform Fluency: Deep understanding and fluency across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
- On-Camera Presence: Must be comfortable being on camera for social content creation with an authentic and engaging on-screen presence.
