Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design and maintenance of our high-load, high-availability infrastructure within the Cloud. You will be responsible for in-depth analysis, implementation, and optimization of our cloud services.

Key Responsibilities and Impact

• Infrastructure Design & Maintenance: Lead the design and maintenance of high-load and high-availability infrastructure within the Cloud.
• Needs Analysis & Solution Justification: Conduct in-depth analysis of service infrastructure needs and justify proposed solutions.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Performance Monitoring: Implement, maintain, and enhance performance monitoring systems.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize performance through advanced autoscaling and other optimization strategies.
• Scripting & Automation: Write, update, and optimize scripts for automation and infrastructure management.
• Kubernetes Management: Maintain Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth deployment and operation of applications.
• Ad-Hoc Project Tasks: Handle complex ad-hoc project tasks based on business needs.

Essential Professional Experience

• Senior Engineering Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar senior engineering role, with a strong track record of leadership, advanced technical skills, and successful project delivery.
• AWS Proficiency: Proficiency in AWS cloud infrastructure and services (EC2, VPC, EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, SNS, CloudTrail, etc.).
• Terraform Expertise: Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Ansible Proficiency: Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management.
• Kubernetes & Containerization: Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Database Proficiency: Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases: Cassandra, Scylla, Redis, Neo4j, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Scripting Proficiency: Proficiency in Bash scripting and Python.
• Monitoring & Observability: Strong understanding of monitoring and observability tools, such as Victoriametrics, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Version Control: Knowledge of version control systems like Git for code management.
• Scalable Architecture: Strong knowledge of best practices for scalable applications cloud architecture: partitioning, scaling, clustering, load balancing.
