Description

The Director of Innovation (DI) will lead the advancement of our technology solutions and drive business growth. This role involves collaborating with clients, partners, and internal teams to create innovative solutions that deliver tangible business outcomes, enhance market presence, and accelerate revenue growth. The DI will partner with Sales, Delivery, and Clients to define success and secure high-value, strategic opportunities across Core BTS’s portfolio. They will educate sales teams and clients, articulate service value, and lead advisory and consulting on complex client engagements. As a thought leader in AI and emerging technologies, the DI will drive AI strategy, innovation, and adoption, staying ahead of machine learning, generative AI, and automation trends. Through thought leadership, they will establish Core BTS as a trusted authority in AI, helping clients navigate AI governance, ethical AI, and implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Create and promote guiding principles for client engagement aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Translate AI capabilities into real-world business value (cost savings, efficiency, customer engagement).
  • Design AI-powered products and services aligned with client needs.
  • Accelerate sales enablement and collaboration.
  • Ensure consistency in engagement methods.
  • Engage in ideation sessions with clients for forward-looking insights.
  • Deliver strategic advisory services for digital transformation and technology modernization.
  • Co-develop sales strategies and solution engagement approaches.
  • Refine solution design to align with client objectives.
  • Lead pursuit teams to secure key wins.
  • Ensure post-signature alignment with client objectives.
  • Evangelize success stories through client wins.
  • Lead and participate in CIO roundtables and executive engagements.
  • Represent Core BTS at partner events.
  • Provide guidance to practices on skillsets and offerings.
  • Drive new offering creation.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between departments.
  • Use client and market feedback to refine offerings and strategies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 12+ years of experience as a technical consulting leader.
  • Experience with deep learning, LLMs, and generative AI.
  • Understanding of fine-tuning models, prompt engineering, vector databases, and MLOps.
  • Knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, and bias mitigation.
  • Strong technical, business, and financial acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across organizational functions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Self-directed with a track record of completing commitments.
  • Strong conflict management and resolution skills.
