Halcyon aims to deliver groundbreaking anti-ransomware solutions. We seek an experienced engineer to contribute to our quality assurance practices, ensuring high code quality, enabling Halcyon’s product to protect customers from ransomware.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and contribute to our endpoint test automation framework.
• Document and develop automated tests for new features and bug reports.
• Design, document, and develop testing assistance tools.
• Set up and manage testing environments.
• Contribute to and adhere to coding style guidelines.
• Deliver quality results autonomously and collaboratively.
• Contribute to the company culture's growth.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in Python development.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Understanding and experience with communication channels: Protobuf, gRPC, Named Pipes, Minifilter Communication Ports, Device IO Controls, and Shared Memory.
• Experience designing, implementing, and contributing to automated test frameworks.
• Ability to troubleshoot Windows applications using debuggers, system profilers, and process monitors.
• Knowledge of the Windows Security Model.
• Knowledge and experience with virtualization tools: Docker and VMware.
• Experience with Linux development.
• Experience with macOS development.
• Good written and verbal communication, including technical documentation.

Bonus Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of additional languages: Rust, C++.
• Experience with Windows performance testing and benchmarking.
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud.
• Experience using GitLab for CI/CD.
• Fast-paced startup experience.
• Experience testing and delivering enterprise-level security products.
