Description
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive with a passion for security and a proven track record of achieving ambitious revenue targets. This role focuses on generating revenue from diverse lead sources, developing new client relationships, and selling directly to customers while leveraging our channel community. The ideal candidate will consistently meet revenue sales targets and provide accurate forecast updates to contribute to our growing business.Responsibilities
- Generate revenue from multiple lead sources, develop new clients, and execute direct sales, utilizing our channel community.
- Provide accurate forecast updates, demonstrating continuous pipeline growth and deal advancement.
- Identify and engage potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored, outcome-focused solutions.
- Articulate Halcyon’s value proposition in a compelling and relevant manner.
- Optimize client engagement post-sale, strategically timing additional transactions.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor and understanding their evolving cybersecurity requirements.
- Conduct regular client reviews, assess satisfaction, and propose enhancements to align with client objectives.
- Network through industry user groups, tabletop exercises, and key industry conferences.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational and client objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize sales processes, streamline communications, and enhance client experience.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory success plan.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified appointments and efficiently move prospects through the sales process.
Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and consistently exceed sales targets.
- Proven experience as a quota-carrying sales representative, ideally within endpoint cybersecurity solutions.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong client and executive-level relationships, prioritizing client success and long-term partnerships.
- Ability to effectively qualify leads based on key success metrics.
- Proficiency in conducting and leading negotiations for procurement and legal agreements, securing favorable terms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse technical and business leaders.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills.
- Self-motivation, drive, initiative, and a confident sales approach.
- Prior startup experience and/or in-depth knowledge of the endpoint cybersecurity space is highly preferred.
