Description

We are looking for a Level Artist to join our development team and help us build out the unique world and atmosphere of Atomic Heart.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and create game levels using the Unreal Engine, with a strong emphasis on light and color.
  • Collaborate with game designers to ensure a consistent design for levels and gameplay mechanics.
  • Collaborate with the Art Director to keep level design consistent with the overall concept art and vision for the game.
  • Implement lighting and special effects to improve the atmosphere of the game world.
  • Create and implement color schemes to evoke particular moods and improve gameplay.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Level Artist in the video game industry.
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates your relevant skills in composition and lighting.
  • Knowledge of Maya, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, and other industry-standard programs.
  • Deep understanding of composition, lighting, and color theory.
  • Knowledge of game development processes and pipelines.

A Plus

  • Experience with the Unreal Engine.
