Description
We are seeking a Strategic Finance Analyst to join our team, reporting directly to the VP of Finance. This is a high-impact role with a strong focus on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and exposure to all aspects of Strategic Finance. You will act as a "player-coach," leading a small team and building the processes and systems that will allow our company to scale financially for years to come. This role is perfect for a highly analytical and strategic professional who is comfortable with ambiguity and eager to make a critical contribution to a fast-growing tech company.The Impact You'll Have
- Own our company model and lead our consolidated strategic and financial planning processes.
- Serve as a thought partner to cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring they have the necessary resources to invest in key initiatives.
- Drive alignment on KPIs and key metrics to track growth initiatives and business performance.
- Analyze the financial levers that drive TRM’s long-term financial trajectory.
- Implement a best-in-class planning system that will scale with the company.
- Partner with the accounting team to ensure forecasts align with historical financials.
- Play a leadership role in fundraising, M&A, Board of Directors communications, and investor relations.
- Establish, manage, and grow the team that will support the executive team in understanding the financial implications of strategic decisions.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, FP&A, strategic finance, or related fields, preferably for a B2B and/or SaaS business.
- Expert financial modeling experience with strong attention to detail.
- Rigorous analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation and writing skills with the ability to communicate complex messages to executive-level audiences.
- A strong track record of building successful cross-functional partnerships.
- Prior experience leading annual planning cycles, managing high-performing FP&A teams, and evolving FP&A processes is a major plus.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration is preferred.
