Description

As a B2B Content Marketing Strategist, you will be a trusted advisor to CMOs, VPs of Marketing, and other key leaders at B2B SaaS companies. You'll use your expertise to act as their confidant, providing both strategic and tactical guidance to help them build and optimize their content marketing engine. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can provide actionable insights for both the C-suite and front-line teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to understand their business objectives and develop tailored content marketing strategies.
  • Conduct content audits and competitive analyses to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop comprehensive content plans, including calendars, themes, and formats that align with client goals and the buyer's journey.
  • Lead the creation and production of high-quality content across various formats, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and more.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content assets align with brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Optimize content for SEO and user experience to improve organic visibility and drive engagement.
  • Develop and execute content distribution plans, leveraging owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Build and manage email drip campaigns and optimize the client's marketing tech stack.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends to serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clients.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, with a proven track record of success with B2B clients.
  • 2-4 years of experience at a digital marketing agency with a focus on SaaS.
  • Minimum of 2 years recommending agency services, leading client discovery meetings, and leading full-funnel content marketing initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of B2B marketing principles and how to engage key decision-makers.
  • Exceptional async communication skills and the ability to lead persuasive client presentations.
  • Proficiency in tools like SparkToro, Ahrefs, and SEMRush.
  • Experience with CMS and marketing automation platforms (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot, Google Analytics).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You are a creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
