Description

We are looking for a QA Technical Lead to focus on our products' content. This role will primarily involve testing the core game mechanics, including match-3, meta, and merge. You'll be adding new features, refactoring, and optimizing, as well as releasing new game content. You'll have the opportunity to directly influence the product and actively participate in the department's growth and development.

Tasks

• Provide quality control and testing for game features on mobile platforms throughout all stages of the product development lifecycle.
• Maintain and write automated tests in Python. The role involves an 80/20 split between manual testing and automation.
• Analyze, create, and update test documentation.
• Find problems and work with the team to fix them.
• Implement changes and optimize processes and approaches within the team.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in manual testing of mobile games on different platforms (iOS/Android).
• Experience developing automated tests for mobile applications in any programming language.
• An understanding of the development life cycle, programming fundamentals, and client-server communication.
• The ability to work with documentation, including analyzing technical specifications and compiling test documentation.
• Experience with analytical systems, including error monitoring tools.
• Experience in implementing and optimizing processes.
• Excellent self-organization and work-planning skills.
• Proactivity, highly developed communication skills, and flexibility.

Preferred

• Experience with project management and documentation tools like Asana, Qase/TestRail/TestIT, Confluence/Coda, and analytics systems.
• An understanding of the specifics of working with casual projects and the match-3 genre.
• Experience working with analytical systems and analyzing complex technical systems with a large amount of data.
