Description

The Front-End team is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to work on automating the testing of game engine interfaces. Our goal is to automate over 3,000 test cases to speed up work processes and improve their quality. This work is closely related to low-level interaction with the game engine, which requires a deep understanding of the stable and efficient operation of interfaces.

Tasks

  • Participate in the testing of a large-scale product—a Unity-like engine and editor.
  • Test in your area of responsibility.
  • Construct and support a test model.
  • Analyze new features for testing.
  • Create test cases using various test design techniques.
  • Prepare bug reports and localize defects.
  • Participate in improving product quality and testing automation processes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in testing.
  • Experience in testing complex systems with extensive functionality (tools without UI, IDEs, game engines, complex backends, embedded systems).
  • Experience in automation with Python or Kotlin/Java/C# (with the readiness to switch to Python).
  • Ability to apply test design techniques.
  • Knowledge of test types and their application methods.
  • Ability to create test plans, checklists, and test cases.
  • An understanding of software architecture.
  • Experience with Test Management Systems (TMS) and Git.
  • Experience analyzing the information necessary to effectively cover functionality with test cases.
  • Experience working in agile teams.

Preferred

  • Experience with white-box testing.
  • Experience with C++/C#.

Skills and competencies show up in different forms and can be based on different experiences, so we strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't have all the requirements listed above.
