Description
In this position, you'll be responsible for monitoring our software development processes and making sure our software systems meet quality requirements for our millions of daily users. This would include testing programs, overseeing release processes, and ensuring the final product meets company guidelines and consumer needs. You'll work within your own product team of engineers and collaborate with other departments.Our Stack
- Testing: Selenium / Postman
- Mobile Testing: Appium / Android Studio
- Databases: MySQL / MS SQL
Responsibilities
- Simulate user needs and actual usage scenarios from a user perspective.
- Perform various types of testing (black box, white box, integration, and performance) on our web and mobile platforms.
- Write test plans and test cases based on feature requirements and produce test reports.
- Track and analyze automated tests to improve testing efficiency.
- Track and record product issues, analyze problems using various tools, and provide feedback to relevant personnel for corrections.
- Share test-related information with other team members.
- Identify and execute on opportunities to improve or establish quality processes.
- Mentor less experienced team members.
Requirements
- 2+ years of testing experience.
- Familiarity with Web, Android, and iOS manual testing.
- Familiarity with various types of tests (functional, integration, regression, stress, and API).
- Familiarity with testing tools like Postman and Chrome console.
- Familiarity with MS SQL / MySQL is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Jira / Jenkins is advantageous.
