Description

We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 7 people. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring efficient delivery, maintaining high technical product quality (including strategy and architecture), and driving key product and technical initiatives across the department.

What You'll Do

Team Leadership & Management (7 people):

• Conduct regular 1:1s, support professional development, provide evaluations and feedback, and onboard new team members.
• Ensure the team's effective delivery and lead production processes.

Technical Product Quality:

• Define strategy and vision for technical products.
• Prioritize tasks and manage planning for your team's deliverables.

Product & Technical Initiatives:

• Gather requirements and collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Design solutions, decompose tasks, provide estimations, and drive initiatives to completion.
• Design service architecture based on product requirements.

Our Tech Stack

Go, AWS, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, Kinesis, Kubernetes, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana

What You'll Bring

• 6+ years of experience in backend development, including 3+ years with Go (designing and developing services from scratch).
• 2+ years of experience in a similar leadership role (Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Engineering Manager).
• Experience developing high-load projects.
• Proven experience in architecture design, including creating services and defining database schemas.
• A strong commitment to ensuring high-quality code development through unit and integration testing.
