Description

We're looking for a Gameplay QA Analyst to join our QA Team and help us increase and maintain the quality of our game, technology, and processes. You'll test our game, its subsystems, and the tools used to create it, providing feedback on the game's quality and using various debugging methods to help developers pinpoint the source of problems. You can work either on-site at our modern office in Warsaw, Poland (Dereniowa Street), or remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Testing our game, its subsystems, and tools, focusing on the gameplay aspects of the game.

  • Taking ownership of the QA side of development for specific gameplay systems and creating test documentation for them.
  • Providing feedback regarding the game's quality.
  • Analyzing found issues in search of their direct cause.
  • Helping developers solve issues that could prevent them from creating the best game possible.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in games QA.
  • Ability to learn quickly and a strong drive to improve your own skills and processes.
  • Passion and an inner drive to create the best story-driven RPGs out there.
  • A proactive approach to game development, seeing the game as a whole.
  • A passion for games.
  • Excellent communication skills and a sense of ownership.
  • Ability to give feedback in a constructive manner.
  • Problem-solving approach.
  • Fluent English.
  • Good self-motivation and self-management skills.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with game engines such as Unreal Engine.
  • Experience with debugging issues using various tools.
  • Scripting/programming experience.
  • Experience in an in-house QA team.

Skills and competencies show up in different forms and can be based on different experiences, so we strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't have all the requirements listed above.
